Pennywell

Sorry to hear of that mate, I don’t think I knew him, possibly by site.
Cheers mate, it's been a few years now, i still think of the daft sod, he was only in his thirties !
Chuk wasn't his real first name but everyone called him Chuk, he hung out with the Upstarts in the late 70's so people around that scene probably know of him.

Might be right, tho there’s a sign on Hylton Road that says Hartley Wood, thought that was where the entrance to Plawsy was?
I think Hartley Wood's the new fangled general area that joins St Johns Vale (old houses), as you say off the top Hylton Road.

I've never been to Plawsworth; just the old square I'm on about was stripped of the P, so I was hazarding a guess solely from that.

Thought he lived ower the road from where the fire was.

Ducky Minto still gannin? I can remember Miley too. Always doing errands for people.

Remember both of them, did Miley have a brother - Charlie I think who looked like a rag man even at 15

Was in a pub in pennywell last night, a couple of idiots who liked to shout for no reason but overall a pleasant experience.
Which pub? I didn’t think there were any left.
There isn't. He's talking shite as usual.
The Hastings Hill although its right on the outskirts of pennywell probably only a few feet away from actual pennywell itself. looking at the map its propbably classed as grindon.

FFS man

Knew a lad called Chucky Taylor I think he lived on or near south view south hylton when he was younger, can't remember him around the upstarts though.
