So our start to the season

What’s the thoughts on it now?

An iffy opening day home fixture fighting back in spirited fashion from an early goal to get a point. Followed by a point away to one of the main promotion rivals and now a good three points against another potential promotion rival and a bit more team shape and character shown.
Mix in a comfortable win in the league cup.

Everybody happy?
It's more about the performance in the first 2 games for me they were both terrible and worrying
Today was better but we have to keep this standard up

5 points from a team that always raise their game against us because of their link to our owners, and 2 of our main promotion rivals. I’d say that’s a decent start.

Last season’s champions lost 2 of their first 3, so judging us so early isn’t the best gauge of how we’ll continue.

3 poor performances by all accounts, 3 goals conceded but unbeaten and 5 points
All's well that ends well I guess

In the short term sure. However we’ve also conceded first in all the games and if we play this poorly we won’t continue to pick up points. Performances need to improve and we need to stamp our authority on games a lot more. We are the best team in the league, I have no doubt about that, but we need to show it more and dominate games a lot more than we do

That’s one of the best ways I’ve seen someone try to bias a comment ever. How can you possibly use Donald’s past as an excuse as to why we didn’t beat Oxford? Never ceases to amaze this board

You can spin it how you like, bottom line we should have beaten Oxford and that permoance against Ipswich was up there with the worst I’ve seen. Today we rode our luck a bit but managed a great result.

From an outsider you've played 2 teams that many fancy to be up there and Oxford who many think might be outsiders to make the playoffs... 5 points is a good return

5 points is an ok return considering how we have performed for spells in the opening three league games. It's the performances and the way we are playing, the mistakes that that we should have eliminated from our game by now are still glaringly obvious at critical moments and the fact that it takes us until we have conceded within the first 25 minutes to look like we have any sort of urgency or intensity to our game that worries me.

Ross is hopefully learning from his mistakes. Thankfully he's ditched the 3 at the back (tbf he was trying something new)

We won't get promoted from this league by being clever or playing expansive football. We need to dig in and grind out the results to get us 90+ points.

It's been an OK start results wise, however barring the Accrington cup game it's not been comfortable... I couldn't give a shite as long as we accumulate enough points!

Rochdale have the same record as us in first 4 games,.although the stats show they have had 42 shots in the 3 games.

Albeit one of those games was a win against Bolton

Decent start , 2 wins and 2 draws in 4 games including cup vs league 1 opposition. But obviously some teams have a 3 out of 3 league start.

So decent but not brilliant start and it basically just leaves us wondering where we are in the order of things.

Please don't start sentences with "So".

Tuesday is a big game IMO , win and we will start to push on, lose and we are back to where we started . If we are going to get promoted we need to put runs together and today has given us the perfect platform to do that
