For those who have a LTD company

Your guy is not in Stockton by any chance as he appears to have the same turn of phrase as mine.
Mine were flights to New York......
"Don't be so f***ing stupid" was, i believe, the verbatim response.

You can have £150 of staff entertaining per annum - this can be for a Christmas do , summer bbq etc so I'd imagine you could put that amount through per employee and claim the event was held away from office

Yes and my accountant took it out.
It's self assessment. Your accountant won't be paying the tax, interest and penalties.
Luckily, the chances of you getting caught are close to zero.

Haha.

They’re not zero, doing dumb shit like putting holidays through your company accounts are highly likely to get you flagged up by hmrcs systems, you’ll then be investigated and then you’ll get penalties for the holiday and all the little things you’ve been doing that you shouldn’t (which you’d otherwise have got away with). Some people will get away with it of course but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Well my accountant says we can wrangle it....happy days 3 days somewhere warm in October thankyou very much

A tax inspector would disagree quite strongly with your accountant...mind you, if you get investigated your accountant will be laughing as you’ll need to pay him a load of money to handle hmrc.

Next to zero imho. Unless it's utterly blatant.

Most of what goes through my business account is for stuff i'm legitamately doing in what would be classed as up=market tourist destinations.
Never been pulled up yet.
