Never said that, not his fault the club have got rid of the 2 players ahead of him this summer and he is just back from injury.

Also not his fault the manager has changed the formation he has probably played since stepping on to a full size pitch aged 11.

Am on holiday at the moment so didn’t see the match but from what I can gather he was v poor though not helped by experienced centre half not helping out and no movement form forwards.

I just think that sadly we jump on a player and destroy them and local lads are never far from the firing line.

I don't buy into that. If they perform well they get praised. See Pickford. If a local lad isn't good enough then I will say so. Where he is from doesn't sway my opinion, I'm sure that's the same for the majority of fans

Non-local players also get stick if they don't perform well.
 
I remember us being linked with him in the past. This would be a great signing, supposing he is totally fit.
 
Would be a very good bit of business on a short term contract.

Btw i've just found out our window shuts later? September 2 apparently. Can someone confirm that
