Honeyman to Hull?

It isn't George Honeymans fault he was overpaid for his efforts but Hull will get a better player because the responsibility of captain won't be his, a mistake by our manager. I am not sure if 10 George Honeymans to 1 Ayoze Perez is right, but safe to say Hull and Leicester won't have done as well out of it as us and unfortunately them.

I liked the lad but I won’t be sorry he’s gone if it puts a stop to all the negative threads that followed every game he played

Easy to say from a fans perspective but as he was club Captain is Ross happy with selling him are the players happy with him being sold? They might have considerably different views to what we have as fans. We see him on the pitch once a week they see him every day

Are you saying the club should consult with or take into account player views before sales are agreed ? I’m assuming Ross is happy given that the owner has consistently said that Ross is responsible for squad matters. As I’ve said before he seems a canny lad, committed to the cause but his influence on the pitch can easily be replaced from within current playing staff.

I wish him well. I never thought he was ever good enough for my team but ultimately what he lacked in ability he did try very hard and when I think of the likes of Kone, N’Dong and even Borini in our relegation season I commend him for his efforts. Saying all that.. I still can’t believe Hull want him!

Was struggling for options when he arrived as George was the only one not wanting away

i doubt its maddison but we need to use it to bring in a creative player cant solet rely on mcgeady

We’re not relying on McGeady. Embleton. Maguire.

3-4-3 whether the 3 is 2-1 or 1-2. Grigg,Wyke, McNulty, McGeady, Embleton, Maguire, Watmore, Kimpioka. That’s 8 players for 3 places, and different player types giving options.

The ‘Honeyman role’ has disappeared, so maybe it’s best for the lad to move.
