I'd give it to Jon McLaughlin.Shit, just realized from the other thread it'll now mean Leadbitter will be captain so now he'll be starting all the time.![]()

Agreed mate.Great move feels like Ross felt he had to play him every game when he made him captain. He was shocking in the playoff final and blowing out his arse after half hour
14 goals to make up from last season ,but lets not stats get in the way of a feeding frenzy.i am not a great fan of gh but goals win games
I am not going to slate him on here cos if his effort won games we would be in the championship now but he went downhill last season. Captaincy??
Bet its no more than £500k
Agreed again - but then I’m also in the camp that we had a team that should have won the league by a mile with a different manager. So again I think the criticism of the players is harsh.
Who is the next captain? Good question - we’ve sold all of the obvious candidates. So either need to give it to a young newbie (which is odd), or an unpopular older player (which is odd). Goalkeeper maybe or mcgeady (neither of which look like leaders Tbf)
Its just very impressive to continually post so much utter f***ing tosh
I AM FOR REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALSorry Mrs honeyman
I think we all want local lads to come through and do well . We have been relegated bottom of the second division and then failed to get out of a division that our budget and infrastructure should dwarf . He’s played a lot of games in those two seasons . He did alright when in the pressing role but he doesn’t pass it forward or take responsibility and he gets knocked about . I’m sure he’s a great lad and decent pro but he’s not good enough if we want to improve and achieve what we wantVery harsh assessment - local lad trying his bollocks off. He’s not the answer to gun you to Europe tbh, I admit very limited, but at the same time I’m unlikely to celebrate his departure. In fact I’m quite sad about his departure - I want local lads and academy products to survive in the team.
He also needs replacing given the amount of game time he got - this one in one out thing works both ways
Has anyone checked if the Roker Report lads are OK?
Even if McNulty takes that number 10 role he will more than replace the goals of Honeyman
That would be a great move for the lad. Don't particularly rate him but like him. I'd wish him well
Grigg will score goals. Bookmark it if you want.I'll see your Wyke and raise you a Grigg.
what do you think his qualities are ?I think he's better than he's ever been given credit for, in this forum at least.
