Darts 2018

That's Durrant into the top 50 now. A final place would put him in the top 40. If he dares win it, he will comfortably be in the top 32. He's one win away from guaranteed qualification for the grand slam of darts as well, as I very much doubt he will be allowed in as BDO champion seems he switched (unsure mind).

Aye I don’t think he’s been confirmed yet, be a shame to be honest if he wasn’t allowed to qualify as a world champ. They let Bunting compete a few years back after he switched.

So when I see the vast majority of folk give out a decent handshake it means they dont mind getting turned over?

Yeah, Taylor was same, when players like wade and Taylor lose theirs no interviews and hanging about its off to a back room to kick stuff about. Hating losing is what makes them winners.

Pretty sure if you’ve been in a major final in the last two years you get in the grand slam.

Think it’s cos Durrant switched over he may be classed as PDC player rather than BDO. Can’t see it being an issue to be honest when they let Bunting compete a few years back when he switched the same calendar year.

Yeah but he won as a BDO player and given he's no longer a BDO player, I'm not sure if he's allowed to represent the BDO in the grand slam. Either way if he beats Michael Smith he's qualified via the PDC route anyway

It doesn’t matter the criteria for qualification is competing in a major final, no matter which side of the divide it’s on, so he’s in the next two grand slams, pdc youth final counts too.

I would hardly call Wade a 'winner' tbf. Gary Anderson always seems to give a decent handshake out. Do you think he doesn't mind getting beat? Its barmy logic to claim you mushr mind getting beat cos you give a decent handshake out. I'm not expecting all players to stay on stage applauding the winner but it takes fuck all to look a fella in the eye for a second and give him a decent handshake

I know but it hasn’t been confirmed yet that he’ll qualify as BDO champ since he switched over. I can’t see why they wouldn’t pick him, having the crowd on his side will always help him in the world of PDC and Sky, Mardle made a career out of it!

Only Taylor and MVG have won more PDC major titles than Wade if he’s not a winner I don’t know who is,

It was confirmed when the competition started if you play in a major final in ether code you’re in the grand slam doesn’t matter which side you play for.

He’s definitely a winner, might never have been world champ but he’s won a hell of other events.

They can change the rules as they go on and they have many a time!

You've just spectacularly missed my point but I guess you new that already. MVG is always gracious in defeat and he's a 'winner'. Even the power gave out a decent handshake before exiting stage right. Wade's behaviour is pathetic after every defeat he has

Folks in sport who are classed as 'winners' have always tended to have won there blue riband events. As good as he's done Wade is not a 'winner' imo

Hahahaha so bloke ranked 3rd in pdc major wins, isn’t a winner hahahaha get to bed pal

was a big fan of Wade but he's making it hard to like him the way he's now conducting himself on the oche. he's trying his best to rival Price

think Durrant thought he was in a huff with him over slow play or something but he just goes on like a child when he's beaten. no class at all

He’s same when he wins to be fair, he plays better when he’s angry so he pisses his sen off best he can, think he drinks a fair bit too sometimes you can see he’s hammered

Durrant in the Premier League next year? Aspinall? Still a long way to go but it's already nigh on impossible to ignore them. Talk of doing 'the contenders' again but not sure it fits well with the league format.

Not sure being a winner has anything to do with a proper handshake mind. Wade's a bad loser (and an even worse winner to be fair), nothing really wrong with it but can see why it would rub people up the wrong way.

People blamed his depression i just think hes a bellend

He’s a winner, all winners hate losing.

Yes, but some have the good grace (and there is plenty) to admit the better man won on the day and congratulate them.

Wade is a complete wanker, will never forget the way he went on when he beat some Japanese player I think at the world championship both in the game and the interview after he was a complete disgrace.

The actual interview was laughable and showed the blokes true colours.

He wanted to hurt him in the face.
