Anyone local to view/help/assess about 400 from late 40's onward including Sunderland and Newcastle , as well as a lot of non-league, as I can't be arsed to log each one's condition, Some mint, most have corner curls and writing/scores written on them. My son doesn't seem interested, so looking to sell. Also have what's left of ravaged season albums from 60's including autographs and 2 Polaroids of Charlie and Cloughie outside Roker (not together).

The post 50s league ones are worth next to nowt marra. I’ve got loads myself. There’s a 73 cup run one worth ower £100.

The ones for the late 40s if you have 400 are worth a small fortune

Go on eBay and look for late 40s safc programmes. They start to become valuable from that date backwards

If you have say the home game v villa circa 1962 you could easily get over £100

I think that there is one v Oldham that is equally valuable.’might be around the same time or mixed up between the two but there are certain programmes after the 50s that can fetch quite a bit

I dont collect them but know people who do

League cup semi ? Think the Oldham game is a league cup one aswell.

Yes I’m sure it’s a league cup semi final

Didn’t we get to the sf in 62?

It’s our home ones that are valuable not the away ones unless it’s the Yeovil game

62/63 yes. Yeovil away is worth a lot although there was a reprint done in the 70's with a few changes, people on ebay etc try to sell it as the original.

I've only got about 10 or more from the late 40's, but someone has written the number of the game i.e. 28 on the front of each, presumably the number of the home game. Got a home game v some Brazilian team in the early 60's

I’m sure it is

I think that they also from memory were the Brazilian team in the 1967 Vancouver royal Canadians tour

Lol
You are spot on.

When Sunderland became Vancouver Royal Canadians - imagine this pre-season now

Joining the Wearsiders were Stoke City, Wolves, Dundee United, Aberdeen, Hibs, Shamrock Rovers, Glentoran, Cagliari of Italy, Bangu of Brazil, Cerro Porteno of Uruguay and Den Haag from Holland – who included a young Dick Advocaat in their squad.
