Kilmarnock 0-2 Connahs Quay

Congratulations to Connahs Quay, massive for them.

Pointless even commenting on the standard of the Scottish league outside of Celtic and Rangers. Genuinely think we'd come 3rd in that league with this current squad & we're a 3rd division English side.
Aberdeen drew against a Burnley side fresh from finishing 7th in the prem about a year ago.

We got beat 3 nowt off st Johnstone when we were in league one. Why would we finish third?

Friendly aye. Hammered st mirren like 5-0 last year and they stayed up.

Watched that game (the one on BT at Burnley), they looked alright. Didn't really offer much attacking though, just tried to dig in and defend. Didn't ever look like they had the quality to win the game. Think Burnley won it in ET?

Not saying we would but if you're gonna use a preseason friendly to judge then we also beat st Mirren 6-0 last season and at the time you mention we drew 2-2 with hibs, got hammered off Celtic and beat Livingston 3-0.

I certainly reckon we'd be up there in the SPL.

Connah's Quay can't even play their European home games at their own stadium, they've been having to use Rhyl's Belle Vue due to the number of seats in the ground and UEFA's strict regulations on that, even that only holds about 1700 (seated) I think?

Belle Vue holds 3,000. Went there a few times with Bangor City back in the day. Quite a, erm, 'keenly contested' little derby in its time.
