Doubled their money but he’s still so young and the way the market is these days, he could potentially go for a lot more in the future if he’s a success in Germany.Earned his move from Charlton? a few seasons ago but found out the premier is one hell of a big step up from league 1. He's championship level and not worth £22m but a great deal for Everton and a huge profit from what they signed him for.
Fuck me- Clarke-Salter plays for them likeHas always looked good for England U21s
He did a good job for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga so he's not Championship level. He would do well at a club like Southampton, Burnley or Bournemouth.Earned his move from Charlton? a few seasons ago but found out the premier is one hell of a big step up from league 1. Yep I reckon so, Germany is attracting more young English players as is France like Maja.. good proving grounds for young-un's aiming for the top. After all it's where all the top teams go shopping for young talent so next stop could be Barca/Man City if they excel. Everton played their bit well as they know these lads are aiming higher.Doubled their money but he’s still so young and the way the market is these days, he could potentially go for a lot more in the future if he’s a success in Germany.
They’d be idiots not to!I reckon it’s a good deal for everyone. Especially if Everton have a sell on clause in the deal.
I think he's suffered a bit from managerial changes - Koeman signed him, Sam clearly wasn't keen, Silva has a lot of other options in his position(s).
Francis Jeffers1 goal in 36 games for Everton.. Signing for RB Leipzig in a deal worth up to £22.5M!
Good deal for Everton? He’s only 21 so can obviously improve but he’s done very little in his career so far.
The counter is that you’ve sold a young player with huge potential and signed a 29 year old who is solid and not much moreThe positive aspect for us is that providing we keep Gana we are selling players from our bloated squad who offered next to nothing last season and getting our crazy wage bill down.
Vlasic: £14 million (on loan last season)
Lookman: £22.5 million (barely featured)
Robinson: £2 million (on loan last season)
Ins:
Gomes £22 million
Delph: £10 million
Lossl: Free
£6.5 million in the black which is great considering how much money we've wasted in recent seasons. Hopefully still a few to go (Bolasie, Besic, McCarthy, Tosun, Martina, Mirallas) amazing the amount of shite we had signed under Koeman/Walsh.
Still need a ST and RW hopefully the rumours of Kean & Malcom are genuine as we massively need some firepower up top alongside Richarlison.

Allardyce wouldnt sell him, was desperate for him to stayI'd go with that. He was doing quite well under Koeman for his age. Sam came in signed an expensive winger in Walcott and was playing a style that was never going to suit a young wide player. He was loaned out at the first opportunity.
Then Silva came and brought Richarlison with him, which was good for Everton but bad for Lookman. Throw in getting a great deal on Bernard and Iceland sometimes playing wide when they move to a more defensive shape and it was never going to happen at the Blues.
I get the impression he never wanted to come back in the first place last season. Seems like this deal suits all parties, he's definitely got talent.
Fat Sam wanted him to go on loan to Derby while Lookman told him where to go and got a loan to RBL sorted which Sam wasn't happy aboutHes bundesliga level
