Our owners

As I said, that makes them utter wankers. Look at every club on social media and you’ll find any sort of post made by the club is followed by a section of their support behaving like cretins.

I think Ross was spot on about the captaincy. People put far too much stock in who is wearing the armband. Natural leaders will always shine through and it’s pretty much irrelevant who is actually wearing the armband. If people want to go into the season against the players/manager for that, they can fuck off for me. Not what we need at all.
Social media in general and at all clubs dominated by unrepresentative sub set of fans who are unaccountably angry about everything and thick.

since you have no problem in calling fans wankers that have a different opinion to you , let me be the first to tell you your wrong and your a dick head for thinking honeyman is the answer as captain
I don’t have any problem with people having different opinions. It’s the pathetic attitude of people having their “backs up” because the manager rightly hasn’t caved. Honeyman wouldn’t be my choice for captain either but it’s the managers decision and not worth people going on the way they are about it.

Anyone going into the season with their “backs up” over Honeyman remaining captain is an utter wanker, not a supporter like.
A bit OTT I think.

Im certainly a supporter. However, I think Honeyman should be in the team (wide right is his best position for me) but not in the pivotal no10 role. I would love to be proved wrong but Honeyman is not cut out for the no10 role and given the way Ross sets up the team its vitally important we have a quality attacking midfielder in there. You can not fault Honeymans attitude and effort but he shouldnt be Captain and he shouldnt be playing the no10 role.

This is my point though. I wouldn’t have Honeyman as a captain or the number 10. My issue isn’t with people holding that opinion, it’s the ridiculous way people go on about him and slate the lad which is pathetic.

Ow George lad

Utter nonsense

I don't rate honeyman as a player let alone captain

If that makes me a wanker tough
That’s not my point though... I’ve even said myself I wouldn’t have him as captain.

You simply could of worded it better

I think people put too much stock in how much the supporters can contribute. How many turn up and how loud they shout is often irrelevant. Shit footballers are what we don't need. Unfortunately our captain is one of the shittest.

Very much this.

The captain should be one of your best players. Someone who can be relied on to perform well most of the time and inspire others.

Our does none of the above.

So you are slating him then

In football ownership terms our owners are peasants. They've had a year to find investment and still haven't done it.

However, they have done a lot of good things. I'd rate them 6/10 so far.

You don't want him as captain or a number ten but your not slating him

Of course you are your not slagging him but definitely slating him
Nope. A big difference between not thinking he’s the best option for a role and some of the shite thrown at a lad who has given 100% for us.

Fair enough mate.

Like i said I think Honeyman is a good kid and Im not keen on the personal stuff either given some of the utter disgusting human beings we have been associated with us in recent years Rodwell Ndog and Dillibodji for starters who fully deserve that abuse.

I think there is a role for him at SAFC but not at no10.
