Completely forgot we even signed Lescott. If someone asked me to name the 2 games he played in I wouldn’t be able to tell you and I do all home games and a few away so there’s a good chance I’d have been there as well. Pienaar as well to a lesser degree, I actually remember him playing but I can’t recall who against or him ever doing anything at all beyond a tidy little turn and 5 yard pass.

As already touched upon the worst thing about Moyes was everything was in place for him..we weren't great but seemed to be going in the right direction..Kone and Kaboul looked immense and the team spirit was tremendous..we'd just relegated the filth and personally i'd never been so optimistic for a season in the top flight in a long time..that dour bong eyed ginger bastard..i fkn despise him.

I don’t think he was injured at boro. Just wasn’t picked.

I’d give Moyes the benefit on djiliboji as I believe that deal was already pretty much done before Moyes arrived. Might have been the case with NDong too or at least he was in a pool of potentials if we couldn’t get other players.

My main gripe with Moyes wasn’t his signings because to be fair had at least one hand tied behind his back. It was the way he managed the players, his woefully negative demeanour and general approach to the job that pissed me off. He should have done his due diligence on us, and if he didn’t fancy the task in hand, walked away and taken another job.

How can you not be unhappy with his signings when 80% were old pals and we lost a fortune on all bar 1, not to mention that disgrace Gibson.
