Decent/affordable lodges with hot tubs in North East

We stayed at Kielder earlier in the year. Had a lovely lodge with hot tub for 3 nights and already booked up for next year and it's £400 not sure if they do any shorter stays. They are lovely lodges mind and the park can't do enough for you
Canny that they provide you with the midge repellent.

Seconded for Kielder. But they don't have Guiness in the pub so I'm taking it back.

Looking to get away for 1/2 nights and some of the prices I have seen are up to £400 - surely they aren't all this price or am I just out of touch with English holidays in the Brexit shananigans?

Anyone been to one with their lass/wife/lover recently that they can recommend?
Stopped at a place called Raywell last year in a lodge with a tub. Loved it.

I don't know about that as it was march we were there and no sign of any midges! We had a few things wrong with the lodge and the hot tub wasnt working properly, they gave us a ring on the Saturday morning to ask if everything was ok when we told them the problems someone was out within half an hour to fix it. Had toiletries, tea/coffee/biscuits, dishwasher tablets, kitchen products. Having been to caravans and even having to take loo rolls I thought it was heaven

Excellent. Literally just left there this morning. Had a great week there with the family. Bairns enjoyed it.

Lodge was canny although the hot tub was in full view of other cabins.

At York now. Going to the races tomorrow.
