Pienaar at CM
One of the worst signings ever, he was absolutely finished at almost every professional level.
I remember us starting a game with Pienaar, Ndong and Larsson in CM, and just instantly writing the game off
McNair was very good just never fit
Think I instantly went to the Colliery Tavern.
In fact, most games that season I'd be in there by half-time.
I wouldnt wish him on the Mags, despicable bloke.
Ruinned me that season. Burley at home iirc, throw in in corner, we were desperate for an equaliser, someone threw to Januzai or however you spell the pricks name, he wasnt looking, bounced off him n they cleared.
I went fecking apeshit, walked out n had best part of a year away after going 30 odd.
I wouldnt wish him on the Mags, despicable bloke. All his mates in the media never mention his time here. Hope he never earns another penny out of football
We were a completely different side with him in the side in the Championship. Revisionist to say otherwiseHe wasn't.
He simply wasn't good enough for the Premier League and had a purple patch at the end of his last season in the Championship.
Then he couldn't get a game for an average Boro side.

Very good!?
He was as bad as Love when he actually played for us in the PL and his entire tenure here has been masked by a few decent goals at the end of a season where we still went down. It says everything about him that he can't get anywhere near Boro's team in his so called natural midfield position.
£5M for him was fantastic business on our part.
Recall the FA Cup at home to Burnley when he brought on O'Shea and went 5 at the back to see out the 0-0
Was a truly dreadful season, I think I lasted 90 minutes twice, I kept my season ticket the following season but missed loads of games due to other commitments which I could have rearranged but didn't have the appetite to.
Started like 4 games and did his cruciates in one. Talk abut not giving someone a chance.
Looked good in the CH when fit and he'll do well at Boro now Pulis has left. Pulis tried to turn him into a RB & legitimately lined up towards the end of the year with 6-7 natural CMs on the pitch
I went to the replay when Love and Honeyman played CM. Borini was upfront and legitimately refused to run about
