8 Days to the Moon and back

What a crock of shit. So they got there with less technology then an iPhone has yet cannot even figure out how to get back now.

A fantastic achievement given the technology of the time

I feel that we may have wasted 50 years by not
Colonising it and using the experience for the colonisation of Mars

Earth isnt where humanity will end

Any lunatics with real doubts should watch some of the many documentaries that go into fine detail as to how it was done and how many people were involved. It would be impossible to fake without literally hundreds of people 'being in on it'. In addition the Apollo flights were tracked by various organisations from all over the world all the way to the moon and back.

If we went to the moon 50 years ago there would be people on there now in inflatable greenhouses and shit let's be honest
I’d like to know why we have effectively mothballed the moon when we could have done so much more

We have gone further out to Mars and Saturn for example but neglected another world easily within reach

By now it should be inhabited

50 years is nowt in the grand scheme of things - why should we set up shop there, if in an extra 25-50 years we can see so much more potential in Mars
