It's their right. They can question, be opinonate all they want, positive or negative. He can't just go criticising the fans. He's done it far too much and he's only been here a little over a year.

Im not saying he can't be pissed off with the questioning etc, but don't cry about it like a baby to the media or podcasts. I'm not his biggest fan as he just has this knack of criticising fans who have been around far longer than he has and ever will be.

I’ll be honest here mate, and this won’t go down well, but there is an element of our support that is frankly a bit shit and both past and present owners (including even Drumaville) has struggled to reason with them.

Our hardcore support is f***ing brilliant - and I won’t have a bad word said against them - but the “I’m not going back till Murray has gone” brigade are very precious and seem to be constantly offended. It’s never taken much for them to walk away (if they ever went in the first place) and any negative situation is overplayed.

Sadly, the City as a whole has a very negative outlook and that can be seen in our support.

I spoke to Charlie at the hall of fame night and he does have frustrations with a small section of our support - some of the personal abuse aimed at some Safc employees and families of those employees is out of order. I feel both he and SD have tried to base communication with Safc fans like they did running Eastleigh - but with hundreds of thousands of worldwide interested parties, most with social media access, a can of worms has been opened and it’s impossible to keep everyone “in the loop” and happy at the same time..... too many constant questions and opinions. I think they are learning this the hard way especially as the team faded at the end of last season. I just hope there is a happy medium to be found so Ashley/Short silence doesn’t come about. I reckon RAWA along with Love Supreme etc and the podcasts are the best way to keep us all up to date as best they can - I’m pleased SD has left Twitter - that was getting uncomfortable and I don’t want to be linked by association with some of the comments on there by supposed Safc fans.

what about him?

Funnily enough it would probably quieten some of the so called fans we were talking about earlier if we bought someone for millions but if it wouldn’t be the right thing for the club we won’t do it.

He's basically describing the Grigg transfer there and claiming its something they simply wouldn't do.

Seems to me like he’s trying to make his position untenable with outbursts about the fans, either that or he’s not as clever as he thinks he is

"....so called fans" .... not endearing himself to me, if i'm brutally honest.

I've no problem with Charlie or Stewart, they've done a good job thus far at turning the club around.....if you're going to dish it out, you should at least be able to take a bit back.
