Most of our crowd are in the 55-65 age group, with one old fella who's in his mid 80's and loves to tell us tales of the brilliance of Shack, Cloughie, and Hurley.

I love night games.
Even better that there's a late train back to British West Hartlepool.
In the late 70's there used to be a 10pm train home, but that service was stopped many years ago, but has recently been reinstated so I'll get to the night matches this season.

At my first night match at Roker on my own as a kid, I missed the stop at Seaham on the way back and ended up at Hartlepool. Nice lady worker in the 'buffet' area of the station gave me something to eat and drink for nowt and made sure I go on the correct train. Nice memory.

I just realized Bohs are playing Sligo away that night. It's the wife's birthday so we are going to the game. Typical of the club to arrange a game and not consult me and as if I have plans for that day.

I just realized Bohs are playing Sligo away that night. It's the wife's birthday so we are going to the game. Typical of the club to arrange a game and not consult me and as if I have plans for that day.

Was at Sligo for a Sunderland pre season game years ago.
Not a bad old place for a drink.

why? playing behind closed doors wont heldp the players as much,,,presumably we are paying the dutch guys for the game...so behid closed doors mean we have no chance of generating revenue.

What revenue will we generate with a couple of thousand there and police, stewards, utilities and catering staff to pay?
