I don't and never will understand the logic of Mags who post on our forum trying to call people on here obsessed. You couldn't pay me to join a Mag forum, nothing good could ever come from doing so.

Which is fair enough. But that doesnt mean you have to have a closed mind that refuses to accept people are different to you does it? If Newcastle fans have a different stance what matters? Its an open message forum is it not.

I only looked because I just knew there would be a lot more pages than this one.

They are f***ing mental.

How on earth is a bloke running a football club at a profit and still getting them pushing on for top half not being a fit and proper owner.

Most fans would give their left nut to have an owner in that position
Aye, but that's not the Newcastle way. They're used to challenging at the top.

Oh, hang on....

To be fair, it's not all of them, most of my mates are mags and don't go on like that, but loads of them do, and christ they go for it. It's not just daft kids either.

Their manager decided not to sign a contract.
That's it.
Am I missing something?

Only Newcastle owner to oversee two relegations from top flight division. Before Ashley relegations came 1934 1961 1978 1989. Now 2009 and 2016.

I’m loving the tweets about names being linked. The replies are all just ‘not bothered it’s not Rafa’ ‘just want Rafa back’ ‘don’t care unless it’s Rafa’
Whoever gets it is going to be massively up against it

The chairman offered him one of the best manager contracts in the league, Rafa turned it down despite being in love with everything about the club (aye righto), so how is it Ashley's fault.

Football has become far more competitive in the last 10 years, so they can't use that as comparisons.

The ones that do go on like tits, more than make up for the ones that don't.

It would be very embarrassing if the mags turned on the new manager. The mags have just proved over the 3 seasons benitez was manager that they are fully behind the manager these days no matter how turgid the football is or how many reserves he plays in the cups or spending money on shite like Murphy, Joselu, Muto, etc etc

I'd say the new manager is on to a winner

I don’t think he is, they only want Benítez and any manager that isn’t him will have a lot to prove to them to win them round

Our fans post on their forums saying the same shite. I'm sure there is mags that hold the same opinion as you about coming on here.

Imagine if they started to slag him off though for poor football or a draw at home to some bottom half team or had a go if he played a second string in the cups.
People would be saying hang on a minute he's done nowt different to rafa

Before Ashley Newcastle had a run of 16 seasons in top flight. Must be coincidence relegated within two seasons. And Sunderland starting a run of 10 seasons in top flight since 1950s. No offence but how competitive does that make football of the period?
