Just when you think they couldn't get more deluded and their meltdoon more ridiculous:

"MPs say Mike Ashley must take some blame for Rafa Benitez's departure from Newcastle - and laws are needed to stop it happening again.

Politicians including MP Chi Onwurah say they'll sponsor a law to make the behaviour of football club owners more transparent."

EDIT: Sorry, this was from 2 days ago..... but still

He had an employee who was out of contract.

Ashley is free to not offer him a new one
Ashley is free to offer him a new one, which he did.

Benitez is free to take that offer, or to look for another job.

I'm not sure how much more transparent the situation could be or what laws that moronic MP would propose? Is she seriously saying that the contractual negotiations of a business should be made public and terms and conditions of offered contracts should be made public?

I agree I don’t think he will either, Moyes or Bruce for me ;)

Did he have his coffin with him

As daft as it sounds, I don't think they'd be daft enough to give it to either. In a time where they know there's no good will at all, appointing a former Sunderland manager even seems too

Edit: but you never know

Genuine question for the Newcastle fans on here.

Given that its widely accepted that Rafa was on £6m a year, how much extra do you think he should have been offered in his new deal?

Think about it for a second then take a look at this link.

Puts things massively into perspective I would say

Net spend.

Wor is declared.

The only way they’ll get rid of fat mick is stop buying season tickets, replica shirts, and stop going to games. En masse and not buying a ticket then walking out. And not gobbing off at shops. They make their mouths go on social media and have a tame MP.
But in real terms have accomplished the square root of f**k all.
Witless gutless gobshites.

His salary wasn’t the issue.

And if he does leave they'll be in a situation like ours...

His salary wasn’t the issue.

As much as the propaganda that is coming out of the Ashley camp, the salary he was offered was not the issue.. It was all the other things.

The club was and will never progress under Ashley, Rafa has a broken relationship with Ashley, he doesn't trust the man.

Will depend if he ends up in China on that mega rich contract.

If the salary isn’t an issue, he’ll turn that down and wait for another European side to come in.

:lol::lol:

£10 million for a disk beard. No thanks.
#NUFC will face both resistance and a hefty £10million compensation fee from Burnley chiefs if they decide to make a move for Sean Dyche, writes @lee_ryder

£10m? f***ing hell!

Well he has nothing to prove to anybody to be fair, If he takes the cash, good for him. I personally can't see him doing that though, family is important to him so can see him staying for a while, if no offers become available then maybe..
But shit, the money offered in China I would be off like a shot.

I don’t want to post what I was told last night for fear of being branded a shitehawk - but somebody very much in the know has told me a lot more about who’s the club are interested in recruiting.

Currently there are only 3 names of interest despite the bookies offering odds on a lot more. The list of f***ing hilarious.

Sit back and relax chaps, it’s going to be a fun summer.

Great gesture. Not factually correct but none the less.

@BOTCHY96: Class by @SharkClub Newcastle, great gesture! #nufc #AshleyOut @nufc
