Trust me when I say this. Away from the NE people I talk to cannot understand why Ashley has gone down this route.

When we discuss your plight the general agreement is that unless someone else gets involved with you lot you could be facing a decade or more away from the top table. One or two even think you'll drop another league next season but the majority think you will be mid table.
∆ none of this ever happened ∆

They think a team who has just finished 5th with a budget allowing us outspend most teams will drop a league? Who exactly are you talking to? Nothing is beyond the realms of possibility but to predict that is madness

As if the daft bastard speaks to people from around the country

It’s been a canny read today, all these mags telling porkies and tripping themselves up.

I blame both, If I give you £10 to get me some Caviar and you bring back fish fingers, I would think you are a daft sod, but at the same time, how could I expect you to get Caviar?
Aren't world class managers supposed to be able to pick gems out at bargain prices like wenger used to do

Getting shot of Rafa is Ashley’s last kick in the bollocks for us before the takeover happens.

Hopefully......
You can’t blame Mike for this one. He offered your miracle worker a very generous contract, but he refused to sign it. Players are returning next week so The club needs to act fast to get a replacement in. That’s Mike, always putting the club first, wasted on your lot.
