So Avram Grant also mentioned as a leading candidate.....now my knowledge of current affairs around the world isnt great but been Israeli and the "takeover" lads are from the UAE area and im sure those guys dont get on with each other.

Grant in and takeover off would be hilarious

What if the new deal is going through and the new owners want Mourinho in place, before they lash the cash, just a thought like.

That's exactly my point mate, if it was going through and they wanted a big name manager, they wouldn't be giving rafa a huge contract, think about it logically.... ;)
they would have just binned him, his contract is up so wouldn't have cost old/new owners a penny to get rid, they would have just not offered a new deal to him

Avram Grant could be on his way

Good, Mourinho would be a disaster. He's a grade A bellend and he would leave that club in a hell of a state.
This says otherwise, like.

If I were a multi billionaire new owner I’d probably want Rafa in charge in the immediate term. Realistically who could they get who is better? (Not a dig at them btw, more praise toward Benitez).

Who would they go for? Mourinho isn’t the right man for them and he’d end up with a very bitter relationship with the fans.

Tempt Bielsa away from Leeds?
