Beehive 1970s

I worked behind the bar upstairs for two weeks in 1979. What an eye opener that was to a rather naive 16 year old at the time. Is Hammy Dolan related to Peter?
We had gone by then, barred out so we set up in the Borough, got hoyed out of there when they changed the landlord, had a spell in the Brewery Tap before settling at Vaux Clerb

Just think if you had gone over the road the other way from the Beehive, you could have been the Painted Wagon Boys ;)

I was in Millers , then went up the road, Slosh was mortal so ended up in Covent Garden with Hammy, Stan, Brewster and Geordie Acka
Me and the mrs and daughter were with them in millers we went up CG with them and aussie but got split up .
Bob was in as well

Must have missed you then , we didn't get in until after 5 , spoke to Aussie outside and went up to the 2 corner bars up the road where Slosher was .

YES, THAT'S ME, JIMMY S. WHO ARE YOU?
A mate of Tommy's who knows you.
I do his bidding on here, because as everyone knows he's a very shy and retiring type chap just like his big buddy Billy Dimmock.

Bertie WAS A GREAT LAD AND I REMEMBER AUSSIE, LAST TIME I SAW HIM WAS IN LONDON. TOMMY WAS A GREAT LAD TOO
Stop using past tense man
