I think the label "crab-like" could be safely applied.
Tries hard but gets nowhere fast?. I'd like to think the people who need to can see our short comings. Like I said earlier in the thread surely the one thing we've learned is that you need to be streetwise in League one. The difficult part is striking the balance of having those players, but having enough who can go up with you. I still stick by what I said the last two windows and wouldn't want to get promoted with too many league one players who we can't shift.

I said similar after the season ended. I'd rather go up with 7 or 8 players who can make the step up, playing fluent football and after winning the league comfortably.....obviously in the way we did after we last lost to Charlton in a play off final.

That would be the ideal scenario mind. We'd probably see decent sized crowds back too which will help massively. We'll get it right one day, I'm sure.

He scored in his last game didn't he?

He would have got a move at end of season and probably got us promoted

all for 1.5 mill, just don't get it
Equally he might have got injured here as he did there and had no impact on our late season at all. He’d certainly have been a target for all the big rough bastards in the opponents defences as his reputation had grown

Should have let him sign a pre contract with someone else and lost out in £5m but would 100% be in the championship
Not if he’d been injured

Anyone can get injured

What sort of argument is that?

We sighed grigg n he got injured for example

Wish bloody Maja would stop being brought up on here, the lad made his decision. FULL STOP.

Surely we made his decision by not forcing him to see out his contract.
If he had stayed and its a big IF he had scored goals it would of been worth more than the 1.5m that's been mentioned we got for him.

But he gone so let him get on with it

Scored some canny goals, just had a heart like a pea.
Didn't under BSA, worked his socks off. Will be a long time before we have an attacking midfielder with his quality.
He can't be absolved from criticism but a buoyant team ethic dissolved the minute Moyes walked in. I'm pretty sure Moyes was the reason M'Villa changed his mind and in comparison to BSA his training methods appeared to break Kirchoff. I was happy about his appointment at the time but Christ he was a disaster.
