When vital people who’ve been there 25 years are leaving because of him, and other people have threatened to leave if he gets moved to their department, I’d say it constitutes a problem. No, I work with adults fortunately.
Worked in call centres during my teens and early 20s. For the most part the ones that got team leader jobs were fine, I found acting team leaders and floor walker types to be massive jobsworths and crawlers.Couldn't agree more.
The worst kind of call center employee is the one that goes from being on the phone to being a team leader. Its like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde watching them embrace the modicum of power they just inherited.
You’ve always had them, there’s loads of them in government.Does anyone have one of these?
There’s a lad I work with who runs to the boss about everything. Normally it’s to deflect shit from himself as he’s the first to get there and get his version of events out.
Its always trivial crap too just so he can point score (mainly because we don’t tell him anything so he doesn’t know what really goes on)
He’s not great at his job but the boss loves him

Love a good snitch.
YesHas anyone ever started or been involved in a work mutiny? You know, get everyone to sign a letter refusing to work with a certain person?

You should just offer to compromise.Has anyone ever started or been involved in a work mutiny? You know, get everyone to sign a letter refusing to work with a certain person?
Me too. Its not all of them that are like that, just a disproportionate amount.Did the floor walking stuff previously. Can confirm I wasn’t a massive crawler, just there a long time and decent at what I was doing.
However I do know the type. I know a few people in the same place who get the highest performance rating every year for basically doing nowt.
Their titles are still ‘telephony’ despite having never took a call in years...
Aye I've had one was meant to change BIOS to secure boot but forgot on one machine out of hundreds.
I didn't know this till the boss told me as she's spot on with me that he went straight to her saying Pete's not doing it properly.
Funny thing is though I'm still here earning my money and he's now been sacked and replaced.
Unlucky you snidey little bell end
Yes, ours do stuff like show the hierarchyWhatsApp’s regarding our anger at proposed cuts and the admin of the page got threatened with disciplinary action if it wasn’t taken down. It’s why I’m at the bottom rung of the ladder and counting the days to bail out. It must be like f***ing game of thrones at the top with all the backstabbing going on. Vile...
