Aye - forgot that one . In the 45 years prior to 74 they only won 3 trophies ( I’m not including invitational tournaments that are not recognised by UEFA), so they were hardly prolific trophy gatherers before either.

Kind of. Discounting Charity Shields they’d won 8 League Titles, 1 FA Cup and 1 Eufa Cup so one less trophy as the Mags had 4 League Titles, 6 FA Cups and the Fairs Cup. But I’d say Liverpool’s haul was more impressive.
