The arrogance of bloke who hasn’t lived up here for years lecturing on how nobody would want to come up here is poor.

It won’t be the first time he’s been wrong if it comes off though so nothing to see really.
Like I said poor poor form digging a bloke who cannot respond.

Aye it’s looking very possible, mind I’d never underestimate the power of Mike Ashley to mess it up until it’s signed and sealed.
Let them get on with it. One of two things will happen, the new owner will sack Benitez and bring their own man in or they will give Benitez millions which he will duly waste. Either way the mags will end up throwing their toys out of the pram like they always do

They could be taken over by the richest person in the world, but financial fair play will kick in at some point to prevent them breaking the top 6.

I always say the same to them that i know when they get lippy. The shop shouting went very quiet when they won a few games. Ashley out campaigns vanish when they look to be safe. Every time.

Best of luck to them. Lets see what the messiah can do for them with a pot of cash.

Before the mags start sucking each other's cocks they might want to remember the last time a "takeover" was definitely happening - was around the same time season tickets were on sale and "Rafa" was faced with a decision to stay or go.
Even if it does go ahead, FFP doesn't just allow you to throw £200m into the transfer kitty and start paying £200k a week in wages

I’ll happily take either

It doesn’t you’re right. But with a sell out every home game in their cess pit and sponsor deals, catchment areas and incoming global attraction, it’ll be a lifetime of piss taking from them now, unless the take utter fails or they get nowhere even with a fortune thrown at them. The next decade could easily see a gap that’ll never get recovered.
