I would. But if me and 3 mates were stranded after a car problem I'd be delighted to be offered lifts from people. 2 in one car, 2 in another, mint. Turning it down because you want to go home as a 4 reeks of attention seeking. If you were genuinely stuck you'd just be happy to get home, not moaning because you weren't all in the same vehicle back

I do get that Yeh I just don't think it's necessary to have a go at them
 
Can see why they've asked for help like, but not why they're turning down offers. Split up if you're that keen to get back for nowt. Otherwise hire a car, won't be much between four.

Our bus was going to be two hours late picking us up in 2014, picking up two groups and I was with the group that got all pissy about it and hired a car to get us back. By the time we got it all sorted the bus was home first anyway.
