Game of Thrones season 8

I'm not - but the decision to torch the city rather than making a beeline for Cersei does seem a bit daft.

The problem is that there were a lot of the Red Guard mixed in with the civilians on the streets between her and the Red Keep. A portion of the Red Guard had dropped swords and some bells were ringing but it was clear that Cersei was not prepared to surrender. So she needed to clear a way for the Unsullied to reach the Red Keep. She did wait for a while but at the end of the day her primary concern must be her own men. Cersei actually delayed until the Unsullied had breached the gates of the Red Keep so despite some bells ringing it was stalemate for a while.

Which house was it that refused to join them? I thought it was the Umbers too.

Tormund and some others from the Wall came across the Umber lad nailed to a wall on their way to Winterfell. Beric set the lad on fire who was surround by a spiral of limbs. So they had to go round the army of the dead to reach Winterfell. I'm not sure who refused to fight. Thought that was just Cersei.

Reet, I'm back and caught up.

Bit of a crap ending for Jaime and Cersei I think - thought there would have been a lot more to it. Sad to see Varys and the Hound go - great characters.

Dany a goner for certain, and I can't see Jon making it through either.

All a bit rushed I think.

Almost thought Rhaegal was going to abandon her and fly back to Winterfell to be with Jon like - that woulda been a laugh.

Still not sure what to make of the fourth dragon in the title credits. Might it's head look a tad 'wolfy'?

I thought that was different but could not say why

One of the northern houses said they wouldn't be joining Winterfell before the battle, they had sworn fealty to the King of the North not Dany.

Edit: Looked it up, it was the Glovers.

Karstark's was a sunburst, the Nightking's was just that AFAIK.

I'm really not looking forward to this thing.
That far back? Interesting. I dunno why but I thought it was gonna be about the Targ conquest.
It's the star quoting the sun, so it could be complete horse shit. I wouldn't be surprised if they've left a few loose ends for this though. We might even be lucky enough to see a young Melisandra.

Game of Thrones prequel ‘Bloodmoon’ has started filming - here’s all you need to know

As soon as it overtook the books the writing has been atrocious. Turns out these guys are excellent at adapting books, awful at story writing.

That last episode has got to be one of the most unsatisfactory bits of TV ever. Totally out of character for Jamie, Danaerys and Grey Worm. What a waste.

.
Greyworm followed orders,Jaimie always loved Cersei and Dany flipped after losing the dragon,Misande and Jorah, killing people who she perceived were responsible for her losses by not overthrowing Cersei.

Not really out of character at all.
