Dying and beyond

Being present at the moment a person dies is a horrific experience. I don’t remember any wow or radiant light but the thought that the passing was a peaceful or pleasant experience is comforting.
My mum was given large doses of morphine and should have been comatose, yet just minutes before she died she started calling out to her mother.

In reply to the well constructed o.p., and having watched the 3 videos, can i ask you to watch this one. Its not quite as high brow as the ones in the o.p., but i think it provides an alternative view on the afterlife.
Its only 3 minutes, but it is very good....I think you might enjoy it.
Killing myself laughing at that. My Mum was in to spiritualism and I got dragged in a few times. Never heard anything believable, although I have to admit that I used to fall asleep more often than not so perhaps I missed all the good stuff.

We all wish we knew the answer to the question 'What happens after you die?" At opposite ends of the spectrum, some of us believe that there is an afterlife and some of us believe there is nothing. Before you jump into one camp or the other I'd like you to watch these three TEDx Talks given by medical doctors. Afterwards I'd like to hear what people have to think.

Everybody knows deep down what happens when you die but try to pretend otherwise.

Hell on if I am greeted by the mother on law.

I'd like to think we reincarnate.

we do,the really nice people come back as dolphins then it's a sliding scale downwards to the really bad people who come back as creepy crawlies, that's why you should never stamp on one as that's what they want you to do to end their misery
