If someone "fails" a "test" he screams and harangues them, makes relationships untenable, destroys lives and never once acknowledges that there is uncertainty in the results, much less acknowledge that it's all cod science with no proven validity whatever. Not even above chance.

This is well known of course but even in this day and age I'm surprised he's been allowed to get away with such cynical exploitation for so long.

I’ve literally just mentioned that talking to our lass about it.

He always gives it the “What, are you saying you’re one of the 5% that the test gets wrong?” in that horrible snidey voice. Well, aye they might be? Seen as it’s accepted that they’re not 100% accurate and that’s why the legal process doesn’t use them.

Not sure why immigrants are brought in to this though? Could you elaborate?
 
My only worry is him giving scratters hotelroom, tabs n drink for decades has probably prevented thousands of burglaries or shop thefts.
 
Not that I'm defending the Daily Mail but a number of other papers and media sources have named the deceased and shown a picture of him. They're still mostly gutter press.

Well, aye they can be fazed out too hopefully but not in my lifetime! Did you know Britain has one of the highest prisoner rates in Europe? The whole of bloody Europe man.

Horrible show that manipulated a lot of the guests etc however there were still some specimens that clearly revelled in the attention going on the programme.
 
ITV is the absolute pits these days

How is Piers Morgan allowed to present prime time shows, it's laughable. Just shows they will do anything for ratings

Only a matter of time before he goes too far.
 
When i was down manchester last year filming for a show, i was in the ITV studio backstage where its all huge concrete walls where you see them doing a runner.

Anyways I was sat back there and was chatting to a wifey whos mate was on. Apparently for some episodes they make the people on the show dress in tracksuits or other items of clothing to make them look tacky. He turned up in jeans and shirt and they made him put a chavy jacket on otherwise theyd not let him on the show the for the lie detector results.....obviously knew he'd passed so to prove it he had to wear the jacket.

Not sure if it has already been said. But I read somewhere that Love Island has two suicide deaths in 4 years - but I bet they won't be banning that shiTe...

TV production companies aren't always the bad guys though - it's a case of supply & demand, and if the ratings are good. If people stopped watching they would soon be gone...
