Chief steward outside BCH

The lads at the main players entrance are always top notch with folk ..they double up for those going into quinns and always say " enjoy the game " or generally have a pleasant word ..they are in contrast it seems to this chief steward, a credit to the club.Roy and those at the top of the stairs are also great..makes a difference a bit of pleasantry
Went in Quinn's for the Walsall match and agree 100% with this. Very friendly and helpful.

That’s not the point, I’ve stated people probably were in breach of club rules

It’s the absolutely horrific attitude towards Sunderland fans queuing for a ticket
So it's not true to say people weren't doing anything they were breaking the rules, Not that it excuses a bad attitude.

I saw some of this where she was shouting at some bloke ‘you’re not doing that here’ but I think she said ‘I’ll get the chief steward’. I could be wrong like. She was a bit too firm, I don’t know what the fella was doing but tbf some of the people in the queue were absolute scratters and just because they’re ‘fans’ it shouldn’t excuse their attitude either.

On one of the organised coaches from Boro a few years she jumped on and started shouting at everyone one the bus, can’t remember exactly what happened but the driver made a complaint on the way day. Anyway I give her a good mouthful back telling asking who she thinks she is talking to people like that and to talk to people properly, that we were football fans and not terrorists. It soon shut her up mind.

No surprise she hasn’t changed in the ten years.

I was queuing to pick my ticket up last night outside the BCH with about 50-100 in the line.
Few people smoking and with cans in the line, no issues here as it’s outside.

Some lass identifying as the chief steward comes up shouting and balling, “no smoking, no cans, move back against the wall” all in an aggressive tone

Then some lad tries to flog a ticket to another lad in the queue and he got absolutely barraged by her.

When the lad didn’t take to kindly to her aggressive tone she shouted “I’m the chief steward here and if you don’t f***ing move I’ll have you dragged away by the police and banned from the ground”.

Ridiculous attitude and treatment if you ask me. Should be more concerned with Pompey fans lobbing flares at fans below and actually getting people into the ground.

Not screaming at people having a fag outdoors.

No need

She had a go at us during the Portsmouth match when we complained about the flare.

Her son appeared and threatened to 'punch my f***ing face in'.

Apparently that wasn't bad enough for her to reprimand him

Remember the infamous Blue Coats (stewards in blue jackets ) of a few years back...They were collectively all power mad...
IIRC they were disbanded because of the number of complaints that the club received about their actions/attitude etc...
