I remember him well. He used to get the Butch Dingle chant & pretend he was upset but you could see he loved it.

Think I clocked him on the Netflix documentary, participating in some strategy meeting or something. Must have advanced the hiviz ladder.

Similar happened it was either at the Charlton game or last season where there were huge queues to get in, she was bollocking everyone and being extremely aggressive, swearing at people who were complaining about missing kick off and didn't know what was going on. Yelling that they were 'told to get here early' and generally aggravating everyone in the crowd.

I don’t dispute the fact that people may be in breach of club rules, drinking outside and smoking.

I mean it’s hardly the crime of the century smoking outside quietly anyway but...

“I’m the chief steward, if you don’t f***ing move I’ll have the police drag you away and I’ll ban you from the club” is a bit much.

Hate people with that kind of attitude. Trying to make herself feel important. Fact is, she's got fuck all say in whether someone is banned "chief steward" or not. She could report someone, but others would investigate and ultimately make the decision. So basically she's got the same power as I do, since I could also make a complaint and have someone investigated. She sounds like an arsehole, and although I have a level of sympathy in terms of some of the people she will have to deal with, that's no reason to be threatening and unprofessional. If she doesn't like the people she deals with and can't be professional then she's in the wrong job. Hope the club are alerted to this thread and look into it

I was queuing to pick my ticket up last night outside the BCH with about 50-100 in the line.
Few people smoking and with cans in the line, no issues here as it’s outside.

Some lass identifying as the chief steward comes up shouting and balling, “no smoking, no cans, move back against the wall” all in an aggressive tone

Then some lad tries to flog a ticket to another lad in the queue and he got absolutely barraged by her.

When the lad didn’t take to kindly to her aggressive tone she shouted “I’m the chief steward here and if you don’t f***ing move I’ll have you dragged away by the police and banned from the ground”.

Ridiculous attitude and treatment if you ask me. Should be more concerned with Pompey fans lobbing flares at fans below and actually getting people into the ground.

Not screaming at people having a fag outdoors.
