I know Richard D Hall and I've seen some of his work. He is a professional conspiracy theorist who believes in aliens.
He used to pay TV companies to give him air time. His income was derived from peddling his books and DVDs on those programmes.

The documentary shows there was a paedophile gang operating in the area prior to the McCann's arrival; all of it kept quiet by the Portuguese police, so it wouldn't damage tourism.
According to media reports, inevitably sensationalised by some papers because it's the McCanns, info has been passed by the Met to the Portuguese police who have expanded their investigation team.
The Met reapply for funding for their own investigation every 6 months.

No, I didn't say that. I know the man, I know of his previous work and how he operates. It's called personal experience and I use it all the time to decide how I invest my limited time.
In answer to your final conundrum, once again I would use my knowledge of the criminal's past history to inform my approach to their future endeavours. How this is relevant to youtube videos I'm not quite sure.

I know Richard D Hall personally, I met him last year and I have been in email contact with him since then, I have also been helping him with one of his cases and my work even got a mention in his latest film. He is not a conspiracy theorist as he bases all his research on facts and evidence and presents it to the viewer in an upfront way and he always asks the viewer to make up their mind based on facts and evidence. If he has his own opinion on something he makes it clear its just his opinion. Yes he believes in Aliens but so do the majority of people these days so that shouldn't be used against him. He has been challenged before about making money from his research and openly admitted his income was so low he was actually claiming tax credits. He sometimes gets tangled in 'other conspiracy theorists' work as that's the nature of the world today as his work entails investigating some of the most high profile cases. I would certainly believe him over the rubbish reported in mainstream media.

Coconut Eddie was claimed by its owner to be the world's best sniffer dog, and got "the smell of death" over a hundred times in Jersey, and was wrong 100% of the times. The same dog got the smell of death in Portugal, and once again, absolutely fuck-all was found.
You know this fine well. You know that no body was found, no DNA was found, and no trace of the bairn's blood; in fact no evidence that any criminal act took place at all was found in that apartment by Eddie or the police.
All you've got is a dog barking, and even then it had to be persuaded to do this by its handler. It's all in the Portuguese Police report, but you know this too because you've been shown it numerous times.
The DNA was degraded as you probably know, and did match Maddie.

She must also have been in the car a month later (after being stashed in a freezer that was easily found by a tourist but not as easy to find by the police).
That's disingenuous and you know it.
As the forensic lab said at the time that the DNA tests were inconclusive. The sample had some markers that matched the missing girl's DNA but it also matched half his lab workers.
The PJ similarly misled the public about the test results and leaked it to the press.

The PJ were not aware at the the time that it was inconclusive, but it remains the fact that the DNA strands did match Maddie.
Bleach will do a good job degrading DNA.
