Parkrun Thread

What times your train? We are on the 14:30 from Durham so plenty of time for me. Parkrun, walk with the dog, dinner with our lass then strite out on the piss. Can't wait.

I honestly can’t remember, I need to print them off this week so I’ll dig out the confirmation today. I don’t normally book early trains if I don’t have to so it should be fine, I’m canny excited as well, Bermondsey beer mile for me

Sunderland Strollers are having pacers at Sunderland park run tomorra. I'm doing 27 minutes. Which means I'll do the first 2 mile in 13 minutes and then walk up the hill and finish on 26:59.

I’m doing some PR tourism tomorrow or I’d have been game for that type of pacing, how come you aren’t pacing quicker than that? Nursing an injury?

EDIT - just read the running thread.

I went and did Horden Parkrun this morning, round about 50 people there or so I’d say. Tricky one that as it’s undulating and swaps from grass to trail (rolled an ankle, standard clumsiness from me).

Anyway got round in about 26:30 which isn’t too bad as I’ve had some kind of Wembley plague following me around all week!

Did this parkrun near Bristol on Saturday . .

course | Somerdale Pavilion parkrun

The route was a cyclocross course, lots of twists and turns including a sequence of circular loops in the middle that made me feel dizzy. Very odd course, would recommend doing it if you're ever in the area . .just the once like. I couldn't do that every week

Did my 1st parkrun almost exactly a year ago in 27:23, came in today at 22:42.

Never thought I'd get into running a year ago, and probably wouldn't have had the confidence to try it without a parkrun to get me started.

Good effort that mate given it was a touch warm this morning. I was nearly sick on Aly Dixon at the finish of the Sunderland one.
