Hotel should be for sleeping only, proper lads week away you need to be out & about. Sitting around screaming kids in a sterile environment supping beer from plastic cups trying to get served by bar staff who cant be arse isnt my idea of fun.

Oh and having to wear those stupid wristbands

It's whatever you want it to be. There are daytime karaoke bars with people singing sweet Caroline if that's what you want but there's so much more here. There are some fantastic bars and areas that are nowt like that.

I live over here. If you want a great value, top quality lunch, try Toscana Italian on "walking street ". It's basically all the way at the end of the main street, (Calle Girona),the street Morgan's Tavern and everything are on. You come to a pedestrianised area and it's on the left. Tables outside, perfect for lunch in the sun and a three course menu for €10.50 including a beer or wine. It opens at 1pm. The mushroom and ham crepe starter is unbelievable and any pizza of your choice. India Gate, directly opposite is cracking as well but doesn't open until 6pm.

Long story short but, I'm there Saturday/Sunday this weekend with 3 x 17 year old lads (one of them mine) - staying about 400m from levante (north/east side) - I'm planing on having a few beers with them early doors and then leaving them to it.

It will be their 1st time anywhere like this without being out on a night parents - any where they should avoid? Or anywhere they should head to - they wont be into the "sweet caroline" stuff more Rap and RNB

Also, great fun for a stag do.

Black chicken is cheap for your daytime karaoke needs.

There was a good Irish bar where a band played whatever for 1 euro.
I have no idea what or if I ate while there.

Don't wear your best trainers, you will never get the smell of bin juice and vomit out.

Went last may, it was fekkin Baltic. Had to buy hoodies . Normally great weather but I'm a right unlucky fekk. Watch yourselves with the Albanian bouncers though. We,d only been there 3 hours and 2 of the lads got pepper sprayed off them for fuck all, snidey fekkers.
