It's actually pretty good up there if it's full, had loads of banter with Liverpool fans few seasons backJust get loads of lunatics up in the concourse next to them. Steep corner could be the new SWC.

There isn't a bad seat in the ground. There is no evidence that it would lead to more trouble either. Would also improve the atmosphere. It was more of an issue than now.
And I think home fans should the best seats, and if in doing so it also removes the influence away fans can have on the game all the better.

Ridiculous restrictions like that would only be reciprocated when we go away tho. There's no need for pubs to be home only. Just better prepared.
You'd have had the shit kicked out of you Hank.Wish I'd been in the Wheatseaf on Saturday
They've f***ing shit themselves

Wasn't the on,y skirmish in the Wheatseaf
Even then I've seen better fights in the bingo queue on a Friday night
There was nee reports of trouble in the other pubs & clubs around the ground
The atmosphere was better before. No harm in trying the experiment but it has failed sadly. We have had less trouble in the stadium since the move.
Does an improved atmosphere mean the type that used to get slated on here all the time before the move?
I think we should be looking to have as much home advantage as possible over wanting a bit of back and forth between fans asking where mini buses have been parked tbh.
Because like it or not, having them up there gives them free reign cos they are out of the way. The north stand has been decimated cos of it sadly. A lot of the chanters pissed off to the south stand/singing end which simply hasn't worked. It's hardly contentious to say fans respond better when they have something to compete against vocally. The evidence is staring us in the face every week.Chelsea and Everton at home, with awy fans out the way, and the atmosphere blew most other atmospheres we have had out the water.
Why hasn't the atmosphere coming from the North Stand improved? Away fans are near them now and still not a peep

What other pubs did Coventry lads go in?

Damned with faint praise. You almost always talk sense and have proved that on this thread.
Coz Wee Philie had invited themFew were dotted around the city but not in great numbers like in the Wheatseaf
Coz Wee Philie had invited them

Minus one for these. It knows I don't want to engage with it, it's tagging me into posts to try to get a reaction, that must be one each now ?
