Working remotely

The Rat

I got a lot of stick bout year back for a similar thread to this as was going to do this for my company without them knowing

Probably fair enough to be honest.

Anyway I’ve gone freelance with my work and I’m clear to do it anywhere.

Was going to travel maybe and do it for a few months. Has anyone done much remote working, especially on the road?

There’s loads of co-working offices around the world, some have accommodation on site too, so it could be good to mix, don’t want to just be on me bill. I’ve heard can possibly pick up work at these places too from employers.

I reckon will be good fun it’s just uprooting again that worries me, especially as more mates get married. Lacked lot of self belief the last 12 months so it’s having the confidence to take a risk

A year

Your biggest worry is your mates getting married?

Do it and don’t look back. Regular income, no ties, travelling the world and shagging owt that moves.... what’s not to like?

How you mean a year? Yeah well just at the age where everyone’s settling down, sometimes feels like I’m still fannying around

You’ve got a point mate

Hawld on a minute.

You went to Vietnam for a while and no one from work noticed you were gone?

Just read his original thread, all will be explained...

Working remotely - from abroad

I’m reporting you, hopefully you can just leave the thread alone, I’m not sure why you keep doing this. I’m selling for advice, and not from you, if you’ve got nothing positive to say please stop taking the piss it’s not very nice.

Remote working so you can choose to live at your new office, rather than work at your own kip?

How’d you mean? I don’t work set hours, could work from cafe if u wanted

If you have nobody to settle down with then there's nowt stopping you. Don't base you life on what your mates are doing.

Fair point, always comparing meself can’t help it

Just follow the lads away. Every fortnight move to another provincial town with pikey coked up chavs (copyright)

Don’t fancy a week in Coventry getting bags of shit thrown on me

You mentioned being able to use offices than have accommodation on site.

Sounds like boarding school for adults and opposite of remote working.

Imagine setting up a twitter account just to attack a fellow SMBer

What’s this?
