London Climate Disruption

More middle/upper class wet blanket fuckwits with no grasp of reality.

‘Ooooh isn’t this exciting, we’ve escaped to London for the day from the Home Counties and stuck our hands to windows with superglue’. Pathetic.

The woman stuck to the revolving door was middle class, so the police couldn't possibly pull her superglued hand off the door.

A dusting with Agent Orange would sort them out.
Leave off man

For years the governments of the world have pissed about with merely words, false commitments and little or no action. For years those concerned with our planet reaching an anthropologically-induced point of no return have been ignored, scientifically sound research deemed fake news by the most powerful man on the planet. Unfortunately as the situation gets more desperate, as our planet undergoes changes that may be irreversible, those who give a damn about our planet will resort to less peaceful ways in order to force change. Good on them, I say. We only have one planet and we’re f***ing it up, unless we act now we don’t deserve to have a safe, clean environment.
What a bunch of absolute hypocritical wankers. See them all with their man made fabrics, plastic umbrellas and back packs. How do they imagine they are made? The vehicles they used to block the road not only emitted CO2 themselves, but probably caused a massive spike in Nitrogen oxides and troposphere ozone due to the traffic jams they caused.

What makes their use of resources more important than those of others?

Seems to be a lot of vandalism and certainly not peaceful. Round them up and shoot them if they aren't capable of protesting peacefully

We saw them in a few places in London yesterday, stopped and watched as we walked through piccadilli, loads of police around watching them as they sprayed graffiti all over the roads and buildings. Yes, loads of it was just chalk but plenty of it was paint.

It’s quite an important issue tbh.

The quality of air in London is awful, and a major public health hazard.

Anyone with kids in the capital should be in solidarity with them and more or less demanding a ban on all non-commercial vehicles in the centre. And maybe beyond.

Scruffy twats want to get a job instead of being dicks.
I bet it's the same people who turn up to every protest and rally going
I read yesterday that the Chinese are building huge amounts of coal fired power stations. In fact the new builds are equivalent to the entire coal powered stations in the USA. And the UK are responsible for something less than 1% of global c02 emissions. Arseholes like this are firing at the wrong targets because it is easy to do so.

What rights are you seeking to deny here?
Those to:

Protest
Live

Or do you deny Global Warming is real?

Spot on. We aren’t far from the day when a majority of idiots would ask to live in a dictatorship if they could. I despair at times.

Using spray paint. Fantastic for the environment and climate change . What a bunch of tw@ts.

Are you condoning what those protesters were doing?

:eek::rolleyes:

Does anyone on here condone the actions of the protesters?

There's a bit of a lingering unpleasant smell around Oxford Circus.

As it's only day 2, i'm not looking forward to walking through them on day 14.

Even though they are causing poor air quality by doing the protest?

Aren't they aiming to get as many arrested as possible, so they can highlight what is happening when they end up in court. The ones I saw yesterday looked harmless as fuck.

Over a hundred nicked. Can you imagine the uproar on here if there were a 100 nicked at a Brexit march. There would be spleens galore rupturing.

Their stated aim is to get as many arrested as possible to bring the system to it’s knees. Last year some of those arrested were going straight back to the protests and committing offences and getting nicked again.

See what a mess the country is in now.
