Game of Thrones season 8

Reckon he will get her elephants to guarantee another go on her like

Aye. Cersei told Jon she'd send her army to help but never intended to. Jaime disagreed. They argued, She threatened Jaime, then he fucked off.

Was never seen on camera. We just saw Brien and him under the tree talking. You'd think the death of Stannis would be worth a scene.

In the script which was leaked it confirms he dies I think. I'd like to see him back as hes a great character but with 5 episodes remaining I dont think theres much chance. Karl Drogo and Ned Stark on the other hand..

I think he is dead like, I'm just hoping for a big twist.

He was dying against a tree wasn't he when she found him. I thought she just finished him off.

She went.. "Blah blah you killed your brother etc", he replied.. "Go on, do your duty" and then it cut to a different scene. We assume he's dead.. but y'nivver knar! :p I just thought it was strange as you see everyone else die in gruesome detail apart from the bloke who roasted his own daughter.

That's the good thing about GoT, you never know who's next for the chopping block. I certainly wasn't expecting Littlefinger to get culled.

Sansa gets on me nerves like. She clearly needed to grow a pair but she’s gone quite quickly from being a simpering airhead to the wisest bewer in Westeros and the way they constantly seem to pit her against Jon Snow is grating.

Can someone remind me why Jamie went north. Did he fall out with Cersei at the end of the last series, I can’t remember.

Funny how Bran can conveniently see the future when it’s needed, but then can’t seem to work it what the zombies’ plan is, or suggest the best way to combat them.

Eddie Izzard is a wanker like. Can’t believe Cersei broke him off a piece so willingly.
Who?

Cersei has told Jamie she's up the duff. Euron doesn't know this. It isn't a massive stretch to think this may be a tactic of some sort. I don't know why you bother watching this mind. You hate nearly everything about it.
You’ve got me wrong guv. It’s among the best shows on telly IMO but with such a complex show there are inevitably characters and plot developments that don’t livc up to the expectation of a show with arguably the best production values in history of telly.
The books were f***ing rubbish like and definitely not worth the effort.

Not just me, then.

Greyjoy. Theon’s uncle.

Seriously. When he shovels in dream sequences, poems, songs, or dribbles on about all the families and their sigils. Get on with it man!
And that whole weird sub plot of some distant prince who was on a boat with Tyrion trying to convince himself he would marry Dany. Glad they left hat out of the show.
I may disagree with the show’s direction sometimes but the profducers have to be given credit for squeezing out a very entertaining show from a rambling writer who was in clear need of an editor!

Euron. I’m not sure what the Eddie Izzard connection is...

100% agreed.

My theory is Dany goes mental and Bran has to become the night king and create a massive White Walker army to fuck her up.

I’d been thinking Bran was the night king for a while myself. There’s two big battles in this series apparently. One of them id guess would probably be Dany’s army v Sansa’s and then the final one will be the dead army v everyone. Final scene will be Bran turning icy and his eyes going blue imo.

Thought it was a poor episode. I get they needed to set it all up but with only 6 episodes this season it seemed like a waste.

We’ve been waiting ages for Jon to find out the truth and it was rushed imo. Eeeeee you’re the king you bloody daft bugger.

The dragon riding bit was poor.

Seemed to have a more polished Hollywood edge to it than previous seasons

There's either going to be a massive twist that we didn't see coming, or simply a straight fight to the death, or an absolute massive anti climax. I'm still sure which it'll be yet. The one thing is though all of the secrets are out regarding Jon. So any potential twist involving that won't happen. I'm leaning towards Jon simply kills the knight king and takes the throne.

Haway man, don't say he's in it as well? Just managed to find out Dennis Pennis has been in it most of the time. I should really watch it properly rather than spend most of the time on my phone

The show loves foreshadowing. To me the fact the children of the forest created the night king by stabbing him in the heart and john having been resurrected from being stabbed in the heart is too much of a connection. Daenerys will end up on the throne in the south, john as the king in the north/ beyond the wall. I wouldn't be surprised if viserion is killed (properly this time), Rhaegal ends up with john looking very blue, drogon with Daenerys.
