Game of Thrones season 8

Good episode, it wasn’t always going to be about catching up with the main characters. As for people saying nout happened

Jon found out his true heritage man, that’s massive

Only in secret though, things aren't official and don't really have an impact until they are discussed more openly.

I honestly thought Jon was going to kill Sam right there on the spot, deciding that defeating the dead was too important to have this news upset Danny.

I didn't think it was a great episode mind

Ive seen a few people say this but I cant understand what you were expecting. They had to try and get everyone into the first episode and get all the reunions out of the way. It went exactly how I thought it would.

It also opened up the story with Sam telling Jon he’s been having it off with his aunt. Sansa who seems to want to fall out with everyone and Bran and Jamie seeing each other for the first time since throwing him out of a window.

I presume Jamie thought Bran was dead and then not to forget it was Jamie that killed the mad king. Dany’s dad.

I thought some parts were uneccessary and then other parts a bit rushed. Didn't hate it but thought it could have been better

The dragon scene was daft and went on for too long but I like how quickly they got through the Sam and Jon bit. They have been criticised in the past for dwelling too long on these things.
