I never said there were not but they would be the minority and the comment was made that all police there are Mags. That’s distracting from the issue. Idiots in the away end are idiots to be dealt with.

I understand the point you’re making mate and it’s fully justified, but maybe, just maybe they didn’t foresee the pack of slavvering f***ing inbred imbiceles that descended on us yesterday. Maybe if those ***** knew how to behave we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

Let’s just hope Coventry fans antics make some headlines and may plant seeds of doubt into the minds of chairmen who were going to let them groundshare. No home = no EFL.

Tbf mate, it's was widely spoken about on social media leading up to the game and I'm sure police intelligence would have picked it up. Yet little seem to have been done. A bigger issue for me was that every banned idiot from Coventry including mags could just walk up and pay on the day, that's needs to stop.

I knew when it went off at Coventry earlier in the season that some would be here intent on causing mayhem. The police and club did not?

Just read the Coventry forum comments, and that really does tell you all you need to know about their mentality. Calling us liars becuase they cannot accept a canny few of their supporters were f***ing vile yesterday.

Yeah....but if a midlands club with less support and therefore less money coming in get asked, then can you see them turning down the money from ‘tenants’?

It was either going to be a job lot of them or just the die-hards that go everywhere.
I was told by a Cov fan I know at the England game in Podgorica that they had sold nigh on 2,000 tickets and that was three weeks ago.

There are plenty on there who are condemning the behaviour though.

No surprise to me....police merely spectate....match commanders say all the usual pre-match blarney about law and order etc..but the troops on the ground just go thru the motions of policing...

Their forum is a disgrace.

The more reasonable of their comments is around the lines of “this is unacceptable but Sunderland fans deserved it”.

the whole division is bitter a fuck where we are concerned. They know we shouldnt be here and are about 3 classes above them. Its a whole division of pikeys - bar one club.

Loads of clubs do it, it's not unusual. They would more than likely do it if they had a top section.....or a ground at all.

My expectations of stewarding are reflected by the state of some of our stewards in the West stand , the majority of them look uninterested, bored and possibly untrained if you watch them closely.

God help them and most of the crowd if they have to deal with mass disorder or a serious emergency situation.

Something that needs addressing sooner rather than later.
