Ah, fair enough, but it is a good example of how punctuation can totally change a sentence, a fact that is lost on many.No mate, that’s just corrective text at its worst timing.

There’s no kudos to be had from tweeting about yesterday, he’ll be keeping his head low.
The bloke you need to complain to is Steve Neill. He’s the safety officer for SAFC.

That’s not fair mate. There’s a lot to to pull together in terms of understanding events and talking to other ‘bodies ‘ ie police, FA, etc and Saturday night is not the easiest time to tie people down.
They then have the unfortunate position having to consider what to do next in terms of the last two games.
Will other fans mimic yesterday and how will the club react?
My feeling is the latter of your sentenceAgreed, the interest is in whether there is a response tomorrow, the end of the week, the end of the month or not at all.
Totally agree. The thing is though mate; if you read the Coventry board, some just think we are bad losers. When in reality, yesterday was the worst trouble I’ve seen inside the SOL since it opened.
Whilst the club may be liable, they also have a duty of care towards the fans in that stand. Yesterday they failed and today they need to make some sort of statement and put pressure on Coventry to sort out their support. Make no mistake, it’s pure luck that no one was seriously hurt yesterday.
It’s pretty worrying, when you turn from your seat and just see bottle after bottle being chucked.
I’m absolutely furious still, so I’m taking the time to wait and make a considered report on Monday when I’m back at work, rather than get myself into bother now. No good can come from firing off emails or calls when you are still emotional
A bit more fuel to the fire, my BiL who sits opposite end of the north stand to me (hanks side), his lass was hit by what they are presuming was a coin just after half time. She has a cut on her eyebrow and just got it clipped up, thing is how f***ing close is that to a 30 year old mother of 2 losing an eye. Fuck you Coventry and fuck the gormless mags who think its funny to go in the away end.
Possibly the most pissed off I've ever been with the club this, the police and stewards we're worse than useless today. Truth is they were calling people liars and even threatened to arrest our fans for having the nerve to complain.
I agree with you.Don’t agree Cat. There was a match commander. He should have taken action by stopping the game and removing the sunlun fans from the stand as he could not guarrentee their safety.
Agreed, the interest is in whether there is a response tomorrow, the end of the week, the end of the month or not at all.
I can remember a few years ago (I think when Paul Weir was in charge of security) a big "show" on local tv of how powerful the cameras were, and that if you threw anything they would find you. Surely after the first few missiles (especially the flare) they should have zoomed in and wound back and sent about 5 plod in to get each offender(s). Once the Coventry (and no doubt Portsmouth to come) saw arrests being made it would stop. There was also certain individuals hanging over the top goading the whole North Stand - surely they did enough to be removed/arrested?
They are responsible for the safety of fans within the stadiumThe club are not at fault for a bunch of shit fans throwing stuff man, blame the wankers throwing stuff, Other than restrict them next time I'm not sure what the club could have done.
This. They should be identified.Supposedly nigh on 100 cameras in the ground mate.
These cowards should be brought to book for this.

Hopefully they go out of business and we can scrape the crap off our shoe.Saw this, was over the moon with the North stands reaction. Lost faith a bit with our support not backing each other up over the years OK the odd occasion it has flashed up around the country but the mass condemnation of that was class to see. Hopfully Coventry feel repercussions of this for there last few games of the season and the efl reducde there allocations or something.
Two orange stewards right at the front of the upper.
Lie in?Bumping this
I'm still catching up
Haven’t seen him for ages mateIs Mick Smith still at the club?
When I had some bother a few years ago he was excellent getting back to me.
