This. They need to do something, even a cursory acknowledgement that an issue happened and was being investigated and will comment in the coming days would be nice. I’m very close to cancelling my renewal and my daughters first season ticket over this, highly likely this won’t be the last time such events happen and it’s totally ruined her experience

They'll need to be really careful before commenting. If there's been a serious lapse in security, it will probably be an employment disciplinary matter, and everything will need to be done totally by the book. They won't say anything until they've spoken to everyone involved.

Give the owners time for a considered response after they have had time to investigate

I honestly think the new lot will look into it mate. Coventry are scum , but i put my head on the block and say the new owner will change things for next season. Don't let it put you or your family off marra.

Tbf mate, a lot of us who sit in the north stand are pissed off. It’s by the grace of god, no one was seriously hurt and the blame is with the club.

There needs to be a statement and those homeless twats needs to be reported to the FA.

It’s lucky no one was maimed or even killed today, and the club and NP need to be f***ing torn a new arse for this. I expect a good few newish attenders won’t be back. Shit, bottles and flares thrown at our fans? It’s disgusting, but I bet very little is mentioned in the national media. I mean, L1 fans don’t matter as much as top six PL fans, right?:evil:

This must never happen again at the SoL. It’s like we’ve either been in a time machine or relocated to Turkey.

My lasting memory of today was turning around and seeing 5 or 6 bottles raining down. As you say, it’s like seeing footage for a game in turkey
