After a young lass had been clipped by a bottle, we went to the stewards and they actually said “there’s nothing we can do”
I have a child who now doesn’t want to go back to the match. I can’t remember being this angry.
Looked like the wheatsheaf went up before the game. Two vans full of coppers pulled up outside about 2ish.Vids going about suggests Wheatsheaf and another.

Aye mateMy emails are going in tomorrow morning mate.
I’ve been all over with Sunderland and England, but today was not safe.
Was he the one stood in the crowd of them at the front between the center and the NWC?

Then we would fully expect some sort of repercussions. I do not believe the ‘police laughed off missiles being thrown.
I’m not denying there were missiles being thrown because I was there.
ShameNot on any social media stuff, mate showed me on his phone (he hadn't videoed it himself I presume). I'm sure others can suss it.
He was in the first row mate, directly behind the goal. He was in a group with a middle aged bloke, wearing a body warmer, he was hanging over the stand abusing families

let's face it, the stewards are special anyway....not sure what they could do to stop it during the game.I witnessed a wife and her husband get told to sit down or else. The maddest thing is shit was still coming down and the steward just ignored it like it wasn't happening, possibly the most surreal moment ever at a home game for me.
I’m in the same position mate. My daughters first game, any chance of getting her into football is now gone thanks to these idiots. Poor lass behind, row 12, looked absolutely terrified as well, as did others around. Cowardly behaviour, they wouldn’t have hit a kid in the street where the parent could batter them of course.
I’ve got emails drafted as well to send to Northumbria police, the club and the fa. Just waiting a day or two to calm down first, I’d only get myself into bother if I started tonight.

I’ve had a SC for nearly 30 consecutive seasons and never once have I considered packing in. Today, however, after witnessing kids crying when those cowardly, homeless fuckers, were chucking bottles and coins, has made me consider next season.
PM link to theseAnother vid that isn't the Wheatsheaf. Wheatsheaf is funny like. Acting up and then getting launched off the shirts just having a beer![]()
