GoT is just Rome + Dragons. Which is why it's so good. Everything is better with dragons.

If you took the Sopranos and added dragons it'd still be good.

You may have a few, it’s a bit like favourite film or food it’s a hard choice but most people know.

Rome had lots of shagging and gore. Nee Deed Army though unless you count the Gauls. Loads of the actors went on to GoT tho. Seriously, if you haven't watched Rome you should.

Might give it a go could do with a new series to watch. Seen a few people say the west wing. May try that, sometimes it puts me off if there’s like 70+ episodes to catch up.

never understand when people say that, its 70+episodes of the best tv going! Nobody is saying you have to have it all watched by the weekend, take your time, enjoy it! I wish I could watch it all again for the first time.

I know your right it’s just the time needed to get through it and catch up sometimes puts me off.

If you like GoT you'll like Rome. It's literally GoT minus the fantasy aspect. It's only 2 seasons too. Most of the actors you'll recognise, and even some of the character inspiration for GoT. I bet £100 G. R. R Martin derived a few of his GoT characters from Rome.

Check out the intro for episode 1 man. Class. I might watch the twat again tbh.

I've never tried West Wing. I managed 2 seasons of House of Cards if that counts. Started off well. Then went to shit and became almost a parody of itself.
