Krakow Food

I was there for new year and my favourite three places to eat were...

Sioux - Texan style steakhouse, looks a bit tacky, but really nice. On the main square.

Pronto Pizza and Grill - Some of the best pizzas I've ever had. Down from Hard Rock Cafe.

Hot Chilli Indian Restaurant - Went on NYE and was beautiful. Would absolutely recommend. We popped in and booked two days before but we could've just turned up.

Try some local bait like Zurek & Pierogi. They're nothing flash but both are tasty, filling and dirt cheap. Whatever you do do not try the lard on bread with gherkins. Absolutely rank.

There was a sports bar in the main square when i went a few year back that had a restaraunt in the back. Steaks pizzas burgers etc .food was unreal

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but the downstairs Italian place at the bottom corner of the main square was excellent. The food in the Hard Rock was good.

Pod Wawelem did lovely food. Massive portions. Crispy pork knuckle was the best - although kebabs were great as well.

You diamond! Was last there about 7:8 years ago and we went here. Going back with the wife in summer and could I hell remember what it was called. Just knew it was nsxt to the castle and had scales in the entrance as a sick bay with a shower head in the toilets.

I had the Officers platter when I was there and the portions are ridiculous. The food is amazing though. And the cherry vodka shots are class too ;)

I loved Krakow me, but have to say the food was awful, even in the more expensive places. Mainly bland gruel and boiled cabbage. Stick to Hard rock
This is utter bollocks.

Best sushi - Youmiko in Kazimierz
Hummus/Israeli food - Hamsa
Italian/Sardinian - Santa'Antioco
More upmarket Polish - Starka
Indian - Tase of India
Steak - Ed Red
Burgers - As mentioned, Moa

We just went around the main square, was a lovely italian and a nice cake shop. Think we had 3 courses and 4 or 5 pints each and cost about £30

Was also a market close by that did some nice food, but didnt like the knuckle meat

Absolutely superb Indians there Marra, unreal and piping hot too, nee idea if the chips are full of tatey though.

The Taste of India - my mates went the following year and thought it was class too
