I loved Krakow me, but have to say the food was awful, even in the more expensive places. Mainly bland gruel and boiled cabbage. Stick to Hard rockTaking the Mrs (no) to Krakow next month for the weekend.
Anyone know any good places for food?
I've been before but it was on my stag do, so didn't get much further than kebab shops and the hard rock cafe.
Cheers...
Do not. I used to work for Hard Rock in Hamburg when I was younger, it's just (slightly) upmarket McDonalds, even the potato skins come in frozen. Traditional food in Poland is mint, but don't bother with the place with the fella in my avatar on the sign, quantity over quality (unless you're a fatty, in which case, gan for it).I loved Krakow me, but have to say the food was awful, even in the more expensive places. I went here too, was good, I thought the M22 burger was better, but the chips were great, piping hot and full of potato.Moa Burger next to Wodka bar, thank me later.
Pod Wawelem did lovely food. Massive portions. Crispy pork knuckle was the best - although kebabs were great as well.
