As a spurs fan from notts when I do drive down , and having to wait more than 1 hour 15 mins to get out of Stanmore tube car park Boxing Day 2017 v Southampton att about 55000 I change to using carpenders Park overground south of Watford 3 to 4 trains an hour free parking’pub ( never used ) Greggs at station Tesco express with fuel . 15 mins from m1 done this about 8 /10 times goes to Wembley Central more food options that route and pubs ,don’t forget pubs stop serving 1hour before kick off , after match you will queue but much better going northbound hope you beat the bastards Seen about 30 games at Wembley but you just Car’nt beat the seven sisters road . Enjoy

Last time our bus was at front of queue to get out so couldve left that early. Instead we were waiting on a couple of people who didnt even go to the match who went to pub. After about 45 mins their mates said to driver to leave them. At that point we were then stuck for another 90 mins which at some point during that time the missing bods turned up.

Probably on my bus by the sound of that. The prick who held us up had the gabbiadini yellow away top on. The amount of voodoo I’ve practiced on his very being means he should now be dead cost me about 4hours if me life I’ll never get back.

I'm parking at Stanmore. We'll probably just sit and wait until it's clear and get a bite to eat. Do they split the queue for the tube after between metropolitan and jubilee lines?

With a very serious point may I add. OK the coach idea was on the whole shite - worse than a typical Simon Grayson Sunderland XI. But behind it was a very deep concern. What could I do to ensure the worst does not happen? It was a coping strategy I like to think if it as. I do not intend to run out just outside of Milton Keynes - we don't know who or what lives there. I have no working concept of proper fuel consumption since the furthest I have traveled is to Croft in North Yorkshire. Once I get past Scotch Corner that is it - an all time long distance that just grows. I don't possess any working knowledge of how far a tank of fuel can get me.

If you cant beat em'......
