Star Trek : Discovery

Quite like how rather than redesign the look of the Talosians they kept the same appearance but slightly “tweeked” to update them but still remain the same. It was also the other little things I noticed they kept such as the chiming background noise that was in The Cage.

might give the cage a rewatch before this, been a long time since I've seen it

Good episode. I got really f***ing angry for a moment when they let S31 get Burnham and Spock.. I was like, you wet f***ing fart.. lol

I'm getting quite sick of S31 overall, it's like they run Starfleet now, not just an intelligence side of things. I hope they fuck off into the shadows. They've spoiled them :/

The lass who plays Vena (Melissa George) is very tasty.

Sooo.. The red angel virus infected the cyborg, she broke the spore drive and transmitted the data (Not Tyler IMHO).... But to what end?
The obvious choice would be to stop Discovery getting to Talos IV, which means she want all sentient life to be killed... but I think that's too obvious?
I think it's so that Discovery would be intercepted by the S31 ship and the captain be discredited or something... Suggesting that maybe the Red Angel is Giorgio not Burnham.. Either one is shit tho.

Oh and I got my Wembo ticket :p

The thing that I find annoying is around the time of DS9, Section 31 was a secret division of Starfleet that was known only to high ranking officials, even in Enterprise, Archer didn't even know they existed until Reid was found out. While in Discovery it is widely known branch of Starfleet like the CIA.

So what happened between in the 150 years to make Section 31 "disappear"?

We saw Nilson become infected by the probe last week. She/they are aware that the Red Angel is trying to alter the timeline to stop them wiping out all sentient life in the future and see Spock as a threat, to stop him they believe he needs to killed by Section 31

Agreed. I think that actions that transpire in this season will push S31 underground and transform them into the organisation we know... I hope.

So you think she stopped the ship to allow S31 to catch up to somehow get to Spock first?

Well I thought it was obvious that What she/they Was wanting, unless it was so obvious that I misread what saw and there is something else going on, as they were going to use the Spore Drive so probably a way of making the Spore Drive no longer viable to use any more is to infect it.

My suspicion is exactly that, it's too obvious.. But we'll see

The last episode of the Orville imo is as good as any episode of Star Trek and yes I know that’s a serious claim

Just watched last night’s, fantastic battle scene that’s how the Battle Of Wolf 359 should have been like in TNG The Best Of Both Worlds Part 2.
