I'm sure he's just playing the $$$ game. There's another player in the game now, it used to happen all the time before
 
WWE have played a blinder with the smarks with Rousey and Lynch, giving them exactly what they wanted an entitled Ronda as a heel. Whilst quietly removing all edge from Becky and turned her into another babyface ala Steve Austin 1998.

These smart wrestling fans are as markish as anyone when they don't get what they want :lol:
 
When is AJ's contract up?

Interestingly, I know of course it's always card subject to change but I bought tickets for the post WM tour yesterday and it's advertising a Bryan V AJ WWE Title main event.


I stumbled across this clip of IMPACT today. I haven't seen anything of TNA/IMPACT in a long time, but does anyone watch this. I have never seen . smaller crowd for a televised wrestling show. Is this normal for what they're getting If so, how on Earth are they still in business?

Yeah I do. The product is largely excellent these days but the venues they are hosting shows out of are like you said tiny.

They do block tapings, likelihood that was one of the latter ones so people will have left. They sell out most of their shows, but as I said the venues are really small. Slammiversary which is their biggest PPV alongside BFG was held in a nightclub last year. Crazy to think they were hosting shows in Wembley arena less than 10 year ago.

Not sure what the problem is. She’s the most marketable full time wrestler in the entire roster (Open to debate on this. Did not include Cena as I said full time)

It would make perfect business and booking sense for Becky to win at WM setting up the grudge match at SummerSlam.

Absolutely, and you had entitled wrestling fans shitting all over her because of it., This edgier character (that ironically Becky Lynch used to do before turning face again) will get her those fickle twats cheering from the rafters.

Vince has played a blinder here with this whole story line but it is not fashionable to give him or the WWE credit for anything..
 
Think it's the weakest card they've had in a long time tonight. So many predictable outcomes.

But WWE typically get the minor PPV's right so I'll hold judgement til its over.

This PPV is always going to be filler until the biggest event of the yea next month , If they could do without the money you could do away with the Match PPV imo.
 
Was a good PPV.

Main Event was an easy 10/10.
Triple threat and Fatal 4 way wasn’t far behind.
The Elias segment was unexpected.

The only genuine surprise was Shane doing the heel turn, bit surprisimg they’re keeping Miz as a face
 
So did becky step on a landmine a few month back ?

And I can't wait for wrestlemania just to be 2 squash matches with kofi and becky getting beat in under 30 seconds with authority interference

Harlem heat in the hall of fame, so booker t and that lad he carried.

Harlem Heat going in such an odd one. Booker is already in and Stevie Ray, I mean, really? I know they have limited black guys they could put in and for positive discrimination purposes they always have a lass and a black guy, but surely they could find someone more deserving than Stevie Ray. HOF'er my arse.

So Shawn and Booker will join Flair as 2 time HOFers. I wonder if after this induction with DX if HHH will go in during his lifetime as a standalone performer. I suspect not, which would be a shame. For me it's a real shame that Waltman will also most likely not go in as a standalone performer.
